Crime Suppression South Unit

The mission of the Crime Suppression South Unit is to identify, investigate and deter violent crime, particularly violent street gang crime, in urban/city areas in the southern region of New Jersey. Through the utilization of proactive and reactive investigative techniques, the Crime Suppression South Unit seeks to identify and investigate violent criminal organizations and offenders who have demonstrated a propensity to use violence in the furtherance of their illegal activities to deter and prevent violence in urban environments. The Crime Suppression South Trafficking Unit works in a cooperative and coordinated effort with members of other federal, state, county and local law enforcement agencies in a global effort to prevent and investigate violent crime in our urban centers.
