The Witness Relocation Unit provides protection, security and relocation services for witnesses to and victims of crimes who are involved in official proceedings related to persons involved in organized criminal activity or other serious offenses. The Witness Relocation Unit may provide identity documents, assistance in obtaining housing and the administration of subsistence funds to crime witnesses or victims should they meet the guidelines of the witness relocation program as set forth by the Office of the Attorney General of the State of New Jersey.
