18-year-old Ocean County woman killed
in West Creek hit and run

Eagleswood Township (West Creek), N.J. - State Police detectives in Tuckerton Station are looking for the public's assistance to aid the investigation of a fatal hit and run accident from late Sunday night.



WHEN:

11:15 p.m. Sunday, November 12

WHERE:

In front of 250 Main St. (U.S. 9) in West Creek, Eagleswood Twp. Ocean County

SUSPECT:

Dark color SUV with damage to the front end on the right side. Unknown
make/model. Suspect may live in the southern Ocean County Area because others often take the Garden State Parkway.

VICTIM:

Kristina Greengrove, 18, Little Egg Harbor, Ocean County

HOW:

Kristina had opened her car door and was about to get into her vehicle, which was
parked on the side of the northbound side of Main Street, when she was hit. She was leaving a girlfriend’s home to head to her own home. Her car door was also struck and bent backward. Kristina was declared at the scene by the Ocean County Medical Examiner.

WEATHER:

The roads were wet and it was misty, but not raining at the time of the incident.
