Environmental Specialist -- Regulatory Programs
Full-time -- Closing Date: 6/2/2017

The NJ Pinelands Commission, an independent state agency with regulatory jurisdiction over the million-acre Pinelands Area, seeks a full-time Environmental Specialist. Responsibilities include reviewing land development applications and permits, providing technical expertise and guidance, and reviewing Comprehensive Management Plan standards relating to environmental and land use regulations and municipal ordinances. Bachelor’s degree with concentration in biology, environmental science, geology, environmental planning or related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of the Pinelands and GIS is a plus. Candidate must be detail-oriented. Only candidates selected for an interview will be notified.
