The Department of the Public Advocate works to protect the voting rights of people with disabilities.

Part our efforts include an education campaign to help individuals with disabilities become fully aware of their right to vote in person and to receive reasonable accommodations at the polls.  

To that end, the attached letter has been distributed to individuals with disabilities, self advocacy organizations, community-based groups that serve individuals with disabilities. 

The Public Advocate encourages people with disabilities in New Jersey to bring this letter with them to the polling sites on Election Day.
