Rutgers Office of Corporate Liaison and Technology Transfer

 

The Office of Corporate Liaison and Technology Transfer (OCLTT) is the University department responsible for transferring Rutgers University technology to the marketplace. To carry out this mission, the OCLTT staff works closely and supportively with Rutgers faculty and industry to secure corporate funding for faculty research. OCLTT protects and licenses marketable University inventions and intellectual property by negotiating contracts between members of the Rutgers faculty and industrial research sponsors, as well as oversees all aspects of the protection and licensing of intellectual property.

NJIT Office of Technology Development

 

The Mission of The Office of Technology Development (OTD) is to promote and facilitate the commercialization of research results through technology licensing and sponsored research activities in a manner consistent with the teaching, public policy and economic development objectives of the university. NJIT's Office of Technology Development (OTD) manages the intellectual property created by NJIT's faculty and staff. OTD promotes creativity and inventiveness at NJIT by obtaining and licensing patent, trademark, and copyright protection on intellectual property.

UMDNJ Office of Legal Management/Patents and Licensing

The Office of Legal Management/Patents and Licensing at UMDNJ provides means of protecting the Intellectual Property of the University and develops that property commercially by forming appropriate relationships between the University, its faculty/inventors and the private sector.


Princeton Office of Technology Licensing

The OTL is responsible for all matters relating to patents and licensing for patentable disclosures resulting from research at Princeton. The OTL pursues the commercialization of technology and makes decisions on patenting and commercialization, negotiates and monitors licenses and other agreements, and distributes royalties to the inventors/authors in accordance with Princeton's Patent Policy. 

Stevens Office of University Research & Enterprise Development

University Research & Enterprise Development oversees the growth of interdisciplinary research as well as the development of intellectual property including patent management and licensing, technology development, sponsored research grants and business commercialization activities.
