The State Archives holds original birth, marriage and death records for the period May 1848 - December 1915. Consult the reference policy linked below for information on how to request a vital records search for this time period.

The Archives also holds microfilm copies of: births, 1878-1923; marriages, 1878-1940; and deaths, 1878-1955. These materials are available for in-person use only. Search service for post 1913 records is provided by the Bureau of Vital Statistics (linked below).
