These grants provide general assistance to historical organizations, museums, historic sites, archives, libraries, and similar organizations with collections or programming relating to the history of New Jersey. For more information about these grants, please see our FY 2014-Round I Project and Minigrant Guidelines.

If you intend to apply for a Project grant, Minigrant, or NJ350 Publication Initiative grant in this round, and have not yet registered on the System for Administering Grants Electronically (SAGE), you are strongly encouraged to register at your earliest opportunity, as this process may take up to five to ten business days and may need additional attention that could delay your registration further.

The New Jersey Historical Commission's grant programs are determined through an independent, third-party peer review process. Funding for these grant programs is made possible by a portion of the revenue produced by the state's Hotel/Motel Tax legislation.
