Planning in New Jersey
The Business Action Center coordinates
statewide planning to protect the environment
and guide future growth into compact, mixed-use development
and redevelopment. The office implements the goals of the
State Development and Redevelopment Plan to achieve comprehensive,
long-term planning; and integrates that planning with programmatic
and regulatory land-use decisions at all levels of government
and the private sector.
Final Plan Proposed for SPC Adoption
This Plan sets forth a vision for the future of our state along with a strategy to achieve that vision. It is the culmination of several years of work by the State and its staff in collaboration with county and local stakeholders and members of the public.
