TRENTON, NJ, June 29, 2009 - Secretary of State Nina Mitchell Wells is proud to welcome the "Concerts on the Landing" series back to the War Memorial beginning Tuesday, June 30, and continuing every Tuesday afternoon, 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., through September 1.

An increasingly popular Capital City summer tradition, the "Concerts on the Landing" are a free series of performances featuring some of the greater Trenton-area's best musicians amid the scenic backdrop of the landing at the War Memorial.

In addition to the diverse collection of artists slated to perform throughout the summer, a terrific array of food from fine Trenton-area restaurants will be available for purchase during the concerts.

"The "Concerts on the Landing" series is always a personal summer highlight, not only for me but for the entire Trenton community," noted Secretary Wells. "It offers the fabulous combination of great entertainment and equally fantastic food, all while attendees soak up the summer sun along the Delaware River. The beautiful landing at the War Memorial is indeed the perfect backdrop for such a wonderful event."
