NJDOT Commissioner Jack Lettiere will announce a series of additional safety measures for the I-295 reconstruction project between Cherry Hill and Mount Laurel to keep traffic moving through the corridor efficiently and ensure timely completion of the $65 million project. New measures include more law enforcement patrols, the lowering of speed limit and new signage. NJDOT currently maintains three lanes of traffic during peak hours, but if motorists do not heed the new warnings, lanes could be cut to only two during peak commuting hours.

MP 33.6, I-295 northbound, Cherry Hill, NJ

(**Rain location. In the event of rain, the press conference will be held at NJDOT Traffic Operations Center in Cherry Hill).

Directions to Press conference location

Coming north on I-295

  • Pass Exit 32.
  • Press conference will be approximately 1 mile up on the right hand side. OFF the highway.

Heading south on I-295

  • Get off at exit 32 (Haddonfield-Berlin Road County Route 561)
  • Bear left to the traffic light.
  • Turn left at light and immediately get in the right lane and look for the sign for I-295 North
  • Take 295 North
  • Press conference will be approximately 1 mile up on the right hand side. OFF the highway.

Directions to NJDOT Region South Headquarters Traffic Operations Center
From the West:
Travel east on Route 38 East for approximately 1/2 mile. Bear right onto Route 70 East for 1.2 miles. Just after the Cuthbert Boulevard overpass, bear left. Turn left onto North Cornell Street, and stay in the left lane. At the first traffic light, turn left onto King Avenue for 1/10 mile. Turn left into the Executive Campus at Cherry Hill.

From North or South: Take Route 295 to exit 34B (Route 70 West). Proceed approximately four miles (past the old Garden State Race Track). We are located in Executive Campus which will be on your right (Hilton is directly across). We are Building #1 which is the first building on the right as you enter the complex. Parking is in the rear of the building. Visitors must enter through the front entrance and sign in with security officer.

From Route 38/Moorestown: Proceed west on Route 38 West to Haddonfield Rd. Turn onto Haddonfield Rd. South, toward Haddonfield. Turn right onto Route 70 West, proceed approximately 2/10 mile, stay in the right lane. Turn right into the Executive Campus at Cherry Hill.
