Route 206 lane closures and delays expected tomorrow because of emergency gas main work in Princeton
Alternating traffic required over branch of Stony Brook
(Trenton) - New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) officials today announced motorists should expect delays tomorrow morning on Route 206 in both directions over a branch of Stony Brook because of emergency PSE&G utility repairs in Princeton.
Starting at 9 a.m. tomorrow, Thursday, November 1, and continuing through the evening rush hour until complete, NJDOT’s contractor will be alternating traffic on Route 206 between Hillside Drive and Arreton Road in both directions to allow for emergency PSE&G gas main work.
Motorists should expect congestion during the evening rush in the construction area and are encouraged to consider alternate routes.
NJDOT is assisting by using variable message signs to provide advance notification to motorists of any traffic pattern changes associated with the emergency repairs.
Motorists are encouraged to check NJDOT's traffic information website www.511nj.org for real-time travel information and for NJDOT news follow us on Twitter @NJDOT_info or on the NJDOT Facebook page. |
