NJ511 Web Site
The Google Maps based web page was designed to complement the NJ511 telephone service. It provides an easy, user friendly way for commuters to see where incidents, accidents, congestion and events like weather and construction are happening before they leave their office or home.
NJ511 Now Tab
This selection provides the user with a view of traffic conditions for an urban area, region or the entire state.
This view is preset to display incidents and congestion. However, by simply activating check boxes, users can customize their view by selecting options like detours, construction, weather events and special events.
This is a complete list of all incidents that appear on the web page. The list is provided by users that may be visually impaired or may wish to just view a complete list of incidents and special events.
Bridge and Tunnel Travel Times
Travelers in the northeast portion of the state can view travel times at the bridge and tunnel crossings and travel speeds on major highways in the New York City metro area.
Travel times for additional sections will be available soon.
Search NJ511 Tab
This tab is designed for users to search for a specific type of event or to search a combined list and view its approximate location of the adjacent map.
The camera images page is one of the most popular sites in state government. Users can view an extensive list of cameras and their approximate locations on the adjacent map. Simply click a camera icon or click the camera name from the list and the most recent camera image will appear on the screen. Images on this page are refreshed approximately every 30 seconds.
