A fishing wharf, known as either Old Fishing Wharf or North River Walk, is located immediately south of the railroad bridge. This area will accomodate fishing and passive recreational activities. It is joined by the North River Walk connecting the plaza area and dock entrance to the Old Fishing Wharf. This area will be linked by the bike/pedestrian path to Stacy Park.

The southern portion will be a landscaped esplanade with benches. The northern section has been designed with fishermen in mind.
