Bicycle Lanes

Route NJ 47
(a) The certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 47 described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as bicycle lanes.  No vehicle other than a bicycle shall be permitted the use of said lane except for those vehicles loading or unloading passengers or materials in accordance with the provisions of NJSA 39:4-139.
1. In Cumberland County:
i. In the Township of Maurice River:
(1) Bicycle lanes along the northbound (easterly) side:
(A) Between the West Creek Bridge (Cape May County-Cumberland County corporate line) and Glade Road (County Route 616) (approximate mileposts 24.51 to 26.61).
(B) Between Main Street (County Route 616) and Mauricetown Road (County Route 670) (approximate mileposts 31.48 to 31.84).
(2) Bicycle lanes along the southbound (westerly) side:
(A) Between the West Creek Bridge (Cape May County-Cumberland County corporate line) and Glade Road (County Route 616) (approximate mileposts 24.51 to 26.61).
(B) Between Main Street (County Route 616) and Mauricetown Road (County Route 670) (approximate mileposts 31.48 to 31.84).
2. In Gloucester County:
i.  In the Borough of Clayton:
(1) Bicycle lanes along both sides:
(A) Between Clinton Street and the Clayton Borough – Glassboro Borough corporate line (approximate mileposts 59.64 to 60.93).
ii.  In the Borough of Glassboro:
(1) Bicycle lanes along both sides:
(A) Between the Clayton Borough – Glassboro Borough corporate line and the Harrison Shaw Bike Trail (approximate mileposts 60.93 to 62.19).
