Restricted Parking and Stopping


Route US 130

(a)

The certain parts of State Highway Route US 130 described in this section are designated and established as "no stopping or standing" zones where stopping or standing is prohibited at all times, except in areas covered by other parking restrictions adopted in accordance with the Administrative Procedure Act, NJSA 52:14B-1 et seq., and NJAC 1:30.  In accordance with the NJSA 39:4-198, proper signs shall be erected to notify the motoring public.

1.

In Salem County:

i. In the Township of Pennsville:

(1)

No stopping or standing along the northbound (easterly) side:

(A) From the northerly curb line of Broad Street to the southerly curb line of Plant Street.

(2)

No stopping or standing along the southbound (westerly) side:

(A) Between Route NJ 49 and the prolongation of the southerly curb line of Plant Street (approximate mileposts 0.00 to 0.30).

ii. In the Township of Carneys Point:

(1)

No stopping or standing along the northbound (easterly) side:

(A) From a point 150 feet south of the southerly curb line of New Plant Street to a point 200 feet north of the northerly curb line of New Plant Street.

(B) From a point 275 feet south of the southerly curb line of Walker Avenue-Georgetown Road to a point 260 feet north of the northerly curb line of Walker Avenue-Georgetown Road.

(C) From a point 100 feet south of Laurel Avenue to Market Street.

(D) From the northerly curb line of Grant Street to the Carneys Point Township – Penns Grove Borough corporate line (approximate milepost 3.00).

(2)

No stopping or standing along the southbound (westerly) side:

(A) From the southerly curb line of East Line Street to the southerly curb line of Field Street.

(B) From a point 200 feet north of the northerly curb line of Walker Avenue-Georgetown Road to a point 100 feet south of the southerly curb line of Walker Avenue-Georgetown Road

(C) From a point 80 feet north of the northerly curb line of Broadway to a point 80 feet south of the southerly curb line of Broadway.

(D) From a point 200 feet north of the northerly curb line of New Plant Street to a point 150 feet south of the southerly curb line of New Plant Street.

(E) From the Carneys Point Township – Penns Grove Borough corporate line (approximate milepost 3.00) to the southerly curb line of Grant Street.

iii.  In the Borough of Penns Grove:

(1)

No stopping or standing along the northbound (easterly) side:

(A) From the Carneys Point Township – Penns Grove Borough corporate line (approximate milepost 3.00) to the southerly curb line of Regional Drive.

(2)

No stopping or standing along the southbound (westerly) side:

(A) From the southerly curb line of Regional Drive to the Carneys Point Township – Penns Grove Borough corporate line (approximate milepost 3.00).

iv.  In the Township of Oldmans:

(1)

No stopping or standing along the northbound (easterly) side:

(A) Between the intersection of Perkintown Road and the intersection of Penns Grove – Pedricktown Road.

2.

In Gloucester County:

i. In the Township of Logan:

(1)

No stopping or standing along both sides:

(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions (approximate mileposts 8.80 to 14.29).

ii. In the Township of West Deptford:

(1)

No stopping or standing along both sides:

(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.

iii. In the Borough of Westville:

(1)

No stopping or standing along both sides:

(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions. (approximate mileposts 24.32 to 25.43).

3.

In Camden County:

i.  In the Borough of Brooklawn:

(1)

No stopping or standing along both sides:

(A) From Big Timber Creek (approximate milepost 25.47) to the Brooklawn Borough – Gloucester City corporate line.

ii.  In the City of Gloucester:

(1)

No stopping or standing along both sides:

(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.

iii.  In the Township of Haddon:

(1)

No stopping or standing along both sides:

(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.

iv.  In the City of Camden:

(1)

No stopping or standing along both sides:

(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.

v.  In the Borough of Collingswood:

(1)

No stopping or standing along both sides:

(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.

vi.  In the Township of Pennsauken:

(1)

No stopping or standing along both sides:

(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.

4.

In Burlington County:

i.  In the Township of Burlington:

(1)

No stopping or standing along the northbound (easterly) side:

(A)  Between the intersection of Stevens Station Road (Neck Road) and a point 200 feet northerly thereof.

(2)

No stopping or standing along the southbound (westerly) side:

(A) Between points 200 feet north of, and 200 feet south of the intersection of Stevens Station Road (Neck Road).

ii.  In the City of Burlington:

(1)

No stopping or standing along both sides:

(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.

iii.  In the Township of Florence:

(1)

No stopping or standing along both sides:

(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions (approximate mileposts 49.14 to 51.61).

iv. In the Township of Mansfield:

(1)

No stopping or standing along the northbound (easterly) side:

(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions (approximate mileposts 51.61 to 53.46).

(2)

No stopping or standing along the southbound (westerly) side:

(A) From the Bordentown Township-Mansfield Township corporate line to a point 680 feet east of the prolongation of the easterly curb line of Maple Avenue (approximate mileposts 51.78 to 53.46).

(B) From a point 630 feet east of the prolongation of the easterly curb line of Maple Avenue to the prolongation of the easterly curb line of maple Avenue.

(C) From the prolongation of the westerly curb line of Pond Avenue to the Mansfield Township-Florence Township corporate line (approximate mileposts 51.78 to 51.61).

v. In the Township of Bordentown:

(1)

No stopping or standing along both sides:

(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions (approximate mileposts 53.46 to 55.76 and 56.10 to 58.28).

vi.  In the City of Bordentown:

(1)

No stopping or standing along both sides:

(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.

5.

In Mercer County:

i.  In the Township of Hamilton:

(1)

No stopping or standing along both sides:

(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.

ii. In the Township of Robbinsville:

(1)

No stopping or standing along both sides:

(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions (approximate mileposts 61.93 to 66.49).

iii. In the Township of East Windsor:

(1)

No stopping or standing along both sides:

(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions (approximate mileposts 66.49 to 70.05).

6.

In Middlesex County:

i. In the Township of Cranbury:

(1)

No stopping or standing along both sides:

(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.

ii.  In the Township of South Brunswick:

(1)

No stopping or standing along both sides:

(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.

iii.  In the Township of North Brunswick:

(1)

No stopping or standing along both sides:

(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.

(b)

The certain parts of State highway Route US 130 described in this subsection shall be established and designated as "no parking bus stop" zones where parking is prohibited at all times. In accordance with the provisions of NJSA 39:4-198, permission is granted to erect appropriate signs at the following established bus stops:

In Salem County:

i. In the Township of Pennsville:

(1)

Near side bus stops along the northbound (easterly) side:

(A) Plant Street - beginning at the southerly curb line of Plant Street to a point 105 feet southerly therefrom.

(2)

Near side bus stops along the southbound (westerly) side:

(A) Plant Street - beginning at the prolongation of the northerly curb line of Plant Street to a point 105 feet northerly therefrom.

ii. In the Township of Carneys Point:

(1)

Far side bus stops along the northbound (easterly) side:

(A) Georgetown Road - Beginning at the northerly curb line of Georgetown Road and extending 100 feet northerly therefrom.

(2)

Mid-Block bus stops along the northbound (easterly) side:

(A) Cleveland Avenue - Beginning 318 feet from the southerly curb line of Cleveland Avenue and extending 135 feet southerly therefrom.

(3)

Near side bus stops along the southbound (westerly) side:

(A) Walker Avenue - beginning at the northerly curb line of Walker Avenue and extending 105 feet northerly therefrom.

(B) Cleveland Avenue - beginning at the northerly curb line of Cleveland Avenue and extending 105 feet northerly therefrom.

2.

In Camden County:

i.  In the Borough of Brooklawn:

(1)

Far side bus stops along the northbound (easterly) side:

(A) Browning Road – beginning at the northerly curb line of Browning Road (County Route 659) and extending 100 feet northerly therefrom.

ii. In the Township of Pennsauken:

(B) Garden Avenue - beginning at the southerly curb line of Garden Avenue and extending 105 feet southerly therefrom.

4.

In Mercer County:

ii. In the Township of East Windsor:

Far side bus stops along the northbound (easterly) side:

(A) Stockton Street – Beginning at the northerly curb line of Stockton Street (County Route 571) and extending 150 northerly therefrom.

(2)

Far side bus stops along the southbound (westerly) side:

(A) Stockton Street – Beginning at the southerly curb line of Princeton-Hightstown Road (County Route 571) and extending 150 southerly therefrom.

5.

In Middlesex County:

i.  In the Township of Cranbury:

(1)

Near side bus stops along the northbound (easterly) side:

(A) Half Acre Road – Beginning at the southerly curb line of Half Acre Road and extending 105 feet southerly therefrom.

(2)

Far side bus stops along the southbound (westerly) side:

(A) Half Acre Road – Beginning at the southerly curb line of Half Acre Road and extending 100 feet southerly therefrom.

(c)

The certain parts of State Highway Route US 130 described in this subsection shall be designated and established as "time limit parking" zones where parking is prohibited at all times except as specified below. In accordance with the provisions of NJSA 39:4-198, permission is granted to erect appropriate signs at the following established "time limit parking" zones.

1.

In Salem County:

i. In the Township of Carneys Point:

(1)

Fifteen (15) minutes time limit parking along the southbound (westerly) side:

(A) Division Street - beginning 35 feet north of the northerly curb line of Division Street to a point 50 feet northerly therefrom.

(d)

The certain parts of State Highway Route US 130 described in this subsection shall be designated and established as "no parking certain hours" zones, where parking is prohibited except as specified. In accordance with the provisions of NJSA 39:4-198, permission is granted to erect the appropriate signs at the following established "no parking certain hours" zones.

1.

In Salem County:

i.  In the Township of Pennsville:

(1)

No parking along the southbound (westerly) side from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Sunday through Saturday (including holidays):

(A) Between Jackson Road and the prolongation of the northerly curb line of Plant Street (approximate mileposts 0.30 to 0.40).
