Restricted Parking and Stopping

Route NJ 147
(a) The certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 147 described in this subsection are designated and established as "no stopping or standing" zones where stopping or standing is prohibited at all times, except in areas covered by other parking restrictions adopted in accordance with the Administrative Procedure Act, NJSA 52:14B-1 et seq., and NJAC 1:30. In accordance with the NJSA 39:4-198, proper signs shall be erected.
1. In Cape May County:
i. In the Township of Middle:
(1) No stopping or standing along both sides:
(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.
(2) No stopping or standing along the eastbound (southerly) side:
(B) From the westerly end of the Bridge over Grassy Sound Channel to a point 135 feet westerly therefrom.
ii. In the City of North Wildwood:
(1) No stopping or standing along both sides:
(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.
(b) The certain parts of State Highway Route 147 described in this subsection shall be designated and established as “bus stops” where parking is prohibited at all times. In accordance with the provisions of NJSA 39:4-199, permission is granted to erect appropriate signs at the following bus stops:
1. In Cape May County:
i. In the Township of Middle:
(1) Near side bus stops along the eastbound (southerly) side:
(A) Massachusetts Avenue – Beginning at the westerly curb line of Massachusetts Avenue and extending 105 feet westerly therefrom.
(2) Near side bus stops along the westbound (northerly) side:
(A) Golf Club Road – Beginning at the easterly curb line of Golf Club Road and extending 105 feet easterly therefrom.
ii. In the City of North Wildwood:
(1) Along Route NJ 147, eastbound, on the southerly side at:
(A) West Anglesea Drive – (near side) (NJ Transit ID# 16643) – Beginning at the westerly curb line of West Anglesea Drive and extending 105 feet westerly therefrom.
(B) Maryland Avenue – (near side) (NJ Transit ID# 30280) – Beginning at the westerly curb line of Maryland Avenue and extending 105 feet westerly therefrom.
(2) Along Route NJ 147, westbound, on the northerly side at:
(A) Maryland Avenue – (near side) (NJ Transit ID# 30281) – Beginning at the easterly curb line of Maryland Avenue and extending 105 feet easterly therefrom.
(B) West Anglesea Drive – (far side) (NJ Transit ID# 30282) – Beginning at the westerly curb line of West Anglesea Drive and extending 100 feet westerly therefrom.
