Various Regulations for Local Roads under State Jurisdiction

Central Avenue (vicinity of Route NJ 35)
Certain parts of the roadway known as Central Avenue (vicinity of Route NJ 35), located in the Township of Toms River in Ocean County, are under New Jersey Department of Transportation jurisdiction.  Traffic on these sections of the roadway is hereby controlled by the following regulations:
(a) The certain parts of Central Avenue described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as bicycle lanes.  No vehicle other than a bicycle shall be permitted the use of said lane except for those vehicles loading or unloading passengers or materials in accordance with the provisions of NJSA 39:4-139.
(1) Bicycle lanes, five feet in width, along the southbound (easterly) side:
(A) Between Route NJ 35Z (a.k.a. Route NJ 35 southbound) and Route NJ 35.
