Various Regulations for Local Roads under State Jurisdiction

Old Tabor Road (vicinity of Routes NJ 53 & NJ 10)
Certain parts of the roadway known as Old Tabor Road (Old Route 53) (vicinity of Routes NJ 53 & NJ 10), located in the Borough of Morris Plains and the Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills in Morris County, are under New Jersey Department of Transportation jurisdiction.  Traffic on these sections of the roadway is hereby controlled by the following regulations:
(a) The rate of speed designated for the certain parts of Old Tabor Road described in this subsection are hereby established and adopted as the maximum legal rate of speed:
(1) For both directions of traffic:
(A) Zone 1: 35 MPH between Route NJ 53 northbound and Route NJ 10 eastbound (Morris Plains Borough – Parsippany-Troy Hills Township corporate line).
(B) Zone 2: 40 MPH between Route NJ 10 westbound (Morris Plains Borough – Parsippany-Troy Hills Township corporate line) and Route NJ 53 northbound.
(b) The certain parts of Old Tabor Road described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as "no passing" zones:
(1) No Passing Zones:
(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits of Morris Plains Borough and Parsippany-Troy Hills Township for an approximate distance of 800 feet.
