MAILING TO RETIREES
- Retirees have been mailed a notice regarding the State Health Benefits Program's and the School Employees' Health Benefits Program's participation in the Early Retiree Reinsurance Program (ERRP)*.
- The mailing is for informational purposes only and required under federal law.
- Retirees do not need to do anything in reply to the mailing, other than read the notification and make it available to your covered dependents.
- All reimbursements under the ERRP are made by the federal government to the SHBP/SEHBP to offset future health care costs. At no time will ERRP funds be paid directly to covered retirees or employees.
