Network - Helping our Members get to a healthier place starts with our
physician network. By actively recruiting many of the area's top doctors,
Oxford Members choose from one of the largest networks in the tri-state area.
- Choice of over 60,000
- Nearly all are board-certified or board eligible.
- Complementary and
alternative medicine program - Members have access to the area's first
credential network of Complementary and Alternative medical providers2, including
chiropractors, acupuncturists, massage therapists, yoga instructors, and nutritionists.
- Oxford pays doctors in our commercial network a fee for every covered service
they provide, regardless of how many times a Member goes to the doctor's office.
- Wide access to pharmacies
- Members with pharmacy benefits can fill their prescriptions via home delivery
and a local network of more than 6,000 retail pharmacies, including major
- Access to most of
the area's finest hospitals - Including Saint Barnabas Healthcare System,
Atlantic Health system, and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.
- OB/GYN without a
referral - Women can choose an OB/GYN without a referral.

- No copayments for
selected in-network care - Annual physicals, one well-woman exam every
six months, routine pediatric care, and immunizations.
- Prescription drug
coverage - Prescription drug coverage is provided to employees whose employer
does not offer a separate prescription drug plan. Prescription drug coverage
is also provided to retirees. A $5 generic copayment, a $10 preferred brand
copayment, and a $20 brand name copayment apply at a retail pharmacy for up
to a 30-day supply. A prescription mail-order program for certain maintenance
medications is also available with the same copayments as above for a 90-day
- Disease Management
programs - Proactive
efforts to help Members manage chronic conditions, such as asthma or diabetes,
through educational materials.
- Active Partner®
program - Personal reminders that encourage Members to receive important
preventive care, including mammograms and flu shots.

Mother, Healthy Baby® - Oxford's maternity program, designed to
help maintain the health and well-being of pregnant mothers and newborns.

- Discounts on Weight Watchers®, fitness clubs, spas and select Brookstone®

Body® Magazine - Oxford's Member magazine is a source of
cutting-edge information on prevention, nutrition, and exercise.
- Gym reimbursement
- To keep Members motivated to achieve their fitness goals, Oxford provides
limited reimbursement towards fitness center membership fees. Oxford Members
that complete a minimum of 50 visits per six-month period receive up to $100
reimbursement; covered spouses receive up to $50 per six-month period.4

can guide Members to an appropriate source of care.

- Group Services works to help groups administer their plans; Service Associates
resolve Member and provider issues in a thorough, courteous, and timely manner.
