Old Business

 

A motion was approved to authorize the PFRS Chairperson, Wayne Hall and the Board Secretary’s Office to move forward with retaining outside legal counsel to handle the litigation against Governor Christie’s proposal to disregard the mandated pension payments under Chapter 78, P.L. 2011. The Board also authorized the Board Chairperson and the Board Secretary’s Office to handle all aspects of the RFQ process. The information necessary will be provided on the Division of Pensions & Benefits’ website and also a link to the RFQ mailbox at BOTRFQOutsideCounsel@treas.nj.gov
