NJ DIRECT10 PREMIUM SHARING
for Retired State Employees
For
State retirees who reached 25 years of service between 7/1/2003 and 6/30/2007
and State retirees who retired on a disability retirement between 8/1/2003 and
6/30/2007

The following
unions have settled contracts with these provisions:
- NJ DIRECT15 & HMO Plans - Retiree pays no
premium even if cost is higher than NJ DIRECT10
(NJ DIRECT10 is the successor plan to the Traditional Plan)
- NJ DIRECT10 - Retiree pays 25% of the NJ DIRECT10 premium
- Medicare Part B: The State
will reimburse the current cost of Medicare Part B premiums
up to $46.10 per month, but will not reimburse those hired
on or after 7/1/1995.

the union code for an employee, look in the SHIPS system under Miscellaneous
