The Board of Trustees of the Teachers' Pension and Annuity Fund (TPAF) holds a convention of delegates for the membership of the Fund each year.
The trustee position for Group B will be elected at the October 20, 2012 meeting. Group B consists of Middlesex, Monmouth, Morris, Passaic, Somerset, Sussex, and Warren Counties.
Retired and active members of the TPAF are permitted to serve as delegates to the Annual TPAF Convention. The principal function of a delegate is to vote in the election of a trustee to the Board of the Fund. Delegates are selected from each county in New Jersey. To be eligible to be a delegate/alternate, you must be an active member or retired member of the TPAF and be working in, or retired from, a school district in that county. Eligibility is based on where you worked, not your place of residence. The method of selection of county delegates will be determined at a specified county meeting. If you are interested in becoming a delegate or an alternate, you should attend the county meeting for the school district from where you work or from where you retired. You do not have to make a reservation; simply attend the county meeting.
Contact information for each of the 21 counties is provided below. Any questions regarding the county meeting or the election of a delegate/alternate should be directed to the county contact below. The county contact information is only for use by TPAF retirees who are interested in attending the county meeting for the purpose of becoming a delegate or alternate.
