01/24/06 Tax Practitioners All practitioners who prepared 200 or more 2004 New Jersey resident income tax returns are required to use one of the three New Jersey electronic filing services (NJ WebFile, NJ TeleFile, and Fed/State E-File) to file their clients’ 2005 New Jersey income tax resident returns. An overview of New Jersey’s 2005 NJ-1040 E-File requirements, as well as a list of Frequently Asked Questions, and the “Opt-Out” form for taxpayers who choose not to have their NJ-1040 returns filed electronically are available on our Web site. This information will be updated as necessary throughout the tax season.

01/23/06 Income Tax NJ WebFile and NJ TeleFile are now available for filing 2005 New Jersey gross income tax returns online and by phone.

Filing electronically is fast, easy, and secure. Plus, only taxpayers who file “paperless” returns can choose to have their refunds deposited directly into their bank account.
