Local Assessment Compliance
- Reviews and investigates information and complaints that pertains to municipal tax assessors.
- Conducts periodic inspections in municipalities that are reimbursed by the State for granting qualified senior & disabled people, and qualified veterans, property tax deductions.
- Research and verify eligibility for Homestead Rebate referrals through field inspections and inquiries to municipal offices.
