This Branch:

• Performs field audits of taxpayers maintaining out-of-state accounting records;
• Examines taxpayers’ books and records to ensure compliance with existing laws and regulations; and
• Conducts comprehensive audits on all taxes the Division administers. With the primary focus on Sales and Use Tax and Corporation Business Tax.

Auditors usually perform audits on site at the taxpayer’s place of business. They also can perform audits at sites provided by the taxpayer’s representative. Current Out-of-State regional offices:
