The New Jersey Turnpike and Garden State Parkway are the safest, quickest and most convenient routes for more than a million commuters, truckers and recreational travelers every day. The Turnpike Authority has strong traffic and revenue histories, a demonstrated ability to deliver large capital projects within budget and a clear commitment to controlling costs and monitoring traffic and revenues. Toll increases enacted in 2008 and 2012 are intended to preserve our credit strength in the coming years and to fully fund the Authority’s $7 billion, 10-year capital program.
