Extended date for submission of the Committee's final report.
Governor Jon S. Corzine has extended the date for submission of the Committee's final report. The submission date has been extended until eight weeks after the filing of the next report of the federal monitors. It is expected that the next report will be filed in or about May 2007. In a letter to the Committee, Kenneth Zimmerman, Chief Counsel to the Governor, wrote: “Given that the monitor’s most recent report to the Court identified certain issues that will require further evaluation in the monitor’s next report, it is appropriate to grant the requested extension of time to allow the Committee to consider this information before making its final report.”
