Mary Duffy

Mary Duffy School/District: Marshall Hill School - West Milford Township Public School District

Teaches: Elementary

Mary Duffy has been an educator for nineteen years, ranging from grades three through eight in urban and suburban areas. Currently, she is teaching grade five at Marshall Hill School in West Milford, New Jersey. As a life-long learner, Duffy holds a M.A. teaching degree and has participated in a Summer Institute STEM Program at Stevens Institute of Technology. Her love of learning and passion for teaching is clearly demonstrated in her day-to-day interactions with students and colleagues, as her enthusiasm is contagious. She has been described as a “master teacher and the ultimate professional and colleague.” In addition to being selected as the 2012-2013 Passaic County Teacher of the Year, she has received the A+ Teacher Award, Modern Pioneer Award, and the Governor's Teacher Recognition Award.
