(OIT) is is to support the the the agencies technological infrastructure including the the the identification and and adoption of of of emerging technologies that improve employee productivity and and reduce operating
costs Department of of Corrections Management Management Information Information System System (DOCMIS) consists of of two major components: the the Correctional Management Management Information Information System System (CMIS) and the the Department of of of Corrections Network (DOCNet) CMIS CMIS includes an an an an an offender management system system an an an an an an electronic medical record application application a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a custody officer scheduling system system the Oracle Human Resources and and Training applications applications FileNet document imaging and and numerous smaller applications applications DOCNet provides the Department with local/wide area network operations that allow for for for a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a centralized information system for for for easier data access The The OIT’s Video Teleconference Unit develops implements and maintains video teleconferencing capability throughout the the state criminal justice system The The unit improves efficiency reduces operating
