The purpose of the State of New Jersey Domestic Violence Policy for Public Employers is to set forth a uniform domestic violence policy for all public employers to adopt in accordance with N.J.S.A. 11A:2-6a.  This policy is designed to encourage employees who are victims of domestic violence, as well as those impacted by domestic violence, to seek assistance from Human Resources Officers (HRO) within both state and local government.

Domestic Violence Policy Training

All New Jersey Human Resources Officers (HRO) in public service who are designated to assist employees of domestic violence are required to take Domestic Violence Policy Training.

This training is available through the Civil Service Commission’s Learning Management System (LMS) platform.  The LMS eLearning platform is a web-based software system that you will have temporary access for the completion of the online training
