SAP Business Objects XI - Web Intelligence - Novice / Level 1
This two-day, instructor led course is delivered in the classroom. Participants will gain the adequate skills and knowledge needed to access, analyze and share data using SAP Business Objects state universes through BI portal, Infoview.
After the course, participants will be able to access state information through various available universes and effectively manage documents (reports). They will be able to design reports, format data, use queries, and schedule report executions.

This two-day, instructor led course is delivered in the classroom. Participants will gain the comprehensive programming skills needed to access, analyze and share data using SAP Business Objects state universes through BI portal, Infoview.
After the course, participants will be able to access state information through various available universes and effectively manage documents (reports). They will be able to design reports, format data, use multiple queries, schedule report executions and apply language defined formulas and functions to the resulting data. Participants will be able to represent the data in various non-textual forms such as charts, graphs and other table types. Features like basic alerts and data tracking are covered in this class. A detailed study of SQL is performed.

This two- day, instructor led course is delivered in the classroom. Participants will gain the comprehensive programming skills needed to access, analyze and share data using SAP Business Objects state universes through BI portal, Infoview.
After the course, participants will be able to access state information through various available universes and effectively manage documents (reports). They will be able to restrict data using conditions and filters, present and analyze data, use advanced query techniques through query optimization, use calculation and programmable contexts, formulas and functions, access merged data sources across multiple universes, use advanced slice and dice data operations, using conditional, iterative and error operators and utilities. Enhanced presentation techniques, drilling hierarchies, user-defined input controls and dynamic data manipulation are covered. Study of advanced SQL traps, composite query analysis, joins, intersection, minus, ranks and merge will be explored. SQL sub queries and nested queries are extensively used in this course.
Participants will be able to query the data in most efficient mode with high performance and accuracy. Features like multiple universe data access and merging dimensions is covered in this class. A detailed study of advanced querying and reporting methodology is performed.
