Users of the NJ-GeoWeb application can locate areas of interest, view and interact with NJDEP's GIS data, and query related environmental information. NJ-GeoWeb presents users with a suite of customized profiles to choose from, where users can work within a more tailored application that includes specific datasets, tools, searches, and reports developed to address the interests of the general public, targeted groups of users, and the regulated community.
The BES Profile was developed to support the development of sustainable, economic growth and renewable energy projects in, and off the coast of, New Jersey. The BES profile contains resources to support the development of Solar Photovoltaic, Wind and Biomass renewable energy projects, and traditional redevelopment projects in various types of planning areas. This profile is an asset for property owners, business owners, government entities, and sustainable and renewable energy developers as it integrates New Jersey's environmental, economic, social and renewable energy data geospatially into one comprehensive tool.
