TWA Application Fees
The Treatment Works Approval (TWA) program regulates the construction and operation of industrial and domestic wastewater collection, conveyance and treatment facilities, including treatment plants, pumping stations, interceptors, sewer mains and other collection, holding and conveyance systems.
The TWA fee structure rules are set forth at N.J.A.C. 7:14A-22.25. Fees are assessed to cover the Department’s costs to review, issue, and manage TWA permits.
Consistent with the provisions of N.J.A.C. 7:14A-22.25(a)5, the Department shall prepare an annual TWA fee schedule report. This report provides a detailed financial summary of the estimated budget and expenditures of the TWA program for a fiscal year, as well as the basis for estabishing coefficient “P” which is used to derive permit fees.
