On January 27, 2002, biologists with the NJ Division of Fish and Wildlife's   Endangered and Nongame Species Program led a team of other biologists from the US, Canada, Chile, Argentina and Australia to Tierra del Fuego, at the southernmost tip of South America, to study the red knot.
