[SRRA]: Pay a Paper Invoice Online Service Now Available to Pay SRP Bills

ANNOUNCEMENT: The DEP Online "Pay a Paper Invoice" Service can now be used to pay certain bills issued by the Site Remediation Program (SRP). This Service can be found at https://www.nj.gov/dep/online/ under "Non-Registered Services." Non-Registered Services are simplified services that DO NOT require logging into or having an account with myNewJersey to access or complete.

The "Pay a Paper Invoice" Service allows anyone to pay a bill on line either using an eCheck or credit card. You will need your Invoice Number which can be found in the upper right corner of your invoice.

Be advised that the user will not be able to use a credit card as a payment method if their Internet Explorer version is older than version 9.

The "Pay a Paper Invoice" Service CAN be used to pay the following SRP fees:

  • Annual Remediation Fees (non-initial)
  • Annual Remedial Action Permit Fees
  • Site Remediation Program Costs (also known as Oversight Cost Billing/Hour for Hour Billing)

The "Pay a Paper Invoice" Service CANNOT be used to pay the following SRP fees:

  • The Initial Annual Remediation Fee for cases under the oversight of a License Site Remediation Professional utilizing the "Annual Remediation Fee" Registered DEP Online Service. The initial fee is determined in conjunction with identifying the fee category and the media additives that apply to the remediation of your contaminated site.
  • Fees that come in with forms/documents such as:

    • Individual Document Review Fees
    • Remedial Action Permit Application Fees
    • Fees associated with Unregulated Heating Oil Remediation

These individual fees are not invoiced by SRP, and therefore have no invoice number, and therefore will not be available to pay online.

  • Any fee that is associated with an License Site Remediation Professional's License (renewal fee/annual fee)
