[SRRA]: Upcoming Drinking Water Quality Institute Meeting

Please take notice that the Drinking Water Quality Institute (Institute) will meet on April 8, 2015 at 1 pm at New Jersey Environmental Infrastructure Trust in Lawrenceville, NJ.

The Institute was established (N.J.S.A 58:12A-20) to make recommendations to the Commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection on a number of issues including: the development of maximum contaminant levels (MCLs) or standards for hazardous contaminants in drinking water and the implementation of the drinking water quality program. There are three subcommittees (Health Effects, Testing and Treatment) that assist in the development of recommendations. At this meeting, the Institute subcommittees will present their findings with respect to Perfluorononanoic acid (PFNA). There will be a public comment period during the meeting.
