[SRRA]: Preliminary Assessment Report, Preliminary Assessment Report/Site investigation Report, and Site Investigation Report Online Services Now Available

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (Department) announces the availability of three (3) new Online Services: the Preliminary Assessment Report, Preliminary Assessment Report/Site investigation Report, and Site Investigation Report Online Services. These Online Services allow persons to file the Preliminary Assessment (PA) Report, Preliminary Assessment Report/Site investigation (PA/SI) Report, or Site Investigation (SI) Report and Form, electronically. Online Services are now available for all remedial phase reports except for the Response Action Outcome.

Instructions for the Online Services are available on the Site Remediation Program Forms Page (www.nj.gov/dep/srp/srra/forms/). The instructions include every question included in the PA, PA/SI, or SI Online Service and should be reviewed before using the Online Services.

The PA, PA/SI, and SI Online Services are based on the existing Remedial Investigation Online Service. Training for that Online Service can be viewed at www.nj.gov/dep/srp/srra/training/sessions/online_service_cid_webinar.wmv, and the handouts are at www.nj.gov/dep/srp/srra/training/sessions/online_service_cid_handout.pdf.

Use of these three Online Services is currently not mandatory. Pursuant to the Administrative Requirements for the Remediation of Contaminated Sites [N.J.A.C. 7:26C-1.6(c)], use of these three Online Services will become mandatory 90 days after the Department publishes a notice in the New Jersey Register stating that the Online Services are available. Until such time, the Online Services or paper Forms may be submitted.

The Department is also replacing the previous Authorization form ("Authorization to Submit RIR, RAW, or RAR through NJDEP Online ") with a new form entitled "Authorization to Submit a Remedial Phase Report through NJDEP Online." This new Authorization form should be used for all future submittals using any of the available Remedial Phase Report Online Services (Preliminary Assessment Report, Preliminary Assessment Report/Site investigation Report, and Site Investigation Report, Remedial Investigation Report, Remedial Action Workplan, Remedial Action Report).
