[EXTERNAL]: Revised Extractable Petroleum Hydrocarbon (EPH) Ingestion-Dermal Exposure Pathway Calculator (v1.1) Available

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (Department) Extractable Petroleum Hydrocarbon (EPH) Ingestion-Dermal Exposure Pathway Calculator (Version 1.0 May 2021) includes a typographical error in the headings for the input table for the "Category 2" calculators. Specifically, the headings for the aliphatic and aromatic equivalent carbon (EC) ranges are incorrect. This typographical error does not affect the output values of the calculator.

The Department has posted a corrected Version 1.1 of the EPH Calculator that has been updated to reflect the correct EC ranges that correspond to both the EPH Method (https://nj.gov/dep/srp/guidance/srra/eph_method.pdf) and the Remediation Standards Rule N.J.A.C. 7:26D.

Refer to the following screen captures for reference to the correct (V1.1) and incorrect (V1.0) table headings.

V1.1 (correct)

V1.0 (incorrect)

Version 1.1 of the EPH Calculator should immediately be downloaded and used.
