The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection's (NJDEP's) Site Remediation & Waste Management Program (SRWMP) will be providing detailed training on the Soil Remedial Action Permit (RAP) Guidance document. The training will be held on Tuesday, June 7 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM both in-person and virtually (see registration details below).

The Soil RAP Guidance Document is designed to assist the person responsible for conducting the remediation (PRCR) to determine when and who is required to obtain a Soil RAP and to assist in navigating the Soil RAP process. The training will offer a detailed discussion of the Soil RAP guidance, updates to the guidance, as well as case study examples and frequently asked questions.

The presentation is being delivered in-person and via GoToWebinar. The maximum number of individual participants supported by GoToWebinar for this training is 500. Please do not wait to register if you are interested in attending. As the capacity for this platform does not exceed 500 participants, additional slots cannot be made available. The maximum number of in-person attendees allowed in the Department's Public Hearing Room is 130, and additional slots cannot be made available.

Continuing Education Credits (CECs):
The NJDEP has applied to the Site Remediation Professional Licensing Board (SRPLB) for 2.0 Regulatory Credits and 0.5 Technical Credits for this course. Once the CECs are approved, certificates will be made available via an email link to those participants who have requested to receive CECs and meet the requirements. Credits may be applicable to NJ PE licenses, PE licenses from other states, and PG licenses from other states; please verify the requirements that apply to your licenses.
