Dental Coverage

Listed below are the carriers offering Stand-alone Dental Plans. SADPs include a pediatric dental benefit required by the federal Affordable Care Act, and some may include coverage for adults, too.  Usually, when purchasing a standard small employer health benefits plan, a small employer will need to purchase an SADP also.  Carriers may offer other dental plans.  Talk to a broker if interested in additional dental coverage.
Stand-alone Dental Plans (SADPs)

The following carriers have been certified to offer group SADPs in 2019.  (Note that Oscar Insurance Company has pediatric dental benefits included directly in its standard small employer health benefits plans, so purchase of a separate SADP is not necessary.)  SADPs are available both inside and outside the SHOP.  You can contact a broker or the carrier directly for more information about SADPs available outside of the SHOP.  For plans available through the SHOP, please visit www.healthcare.gov.
