The office primarily coordinates the Department's responses to state and federal legislation. This office is also responsible for the Department's interactions with the State Legislature, the federal government and other government entities. The office is also involved in developing many of the Department's policy initiatives. Lastly, the office serves as the main interface with education advocates around the implementation of the Department's initiatives.
