Special Assistant to the Commissioner
Chris Huber is Special Assistant to the Commissioner for the New Jersey Department of Education. In this role, he works with staff to develop and implement projects that advance the Department as a student-focused service agency promoting academic excellence.
Prior to this role, Mr. Huber was in the NJDOE Legal Office, most recently as Acting Chief of Legal Affairs. He also has worked as a Deputy Attorney General in the Department of Law and Public Safety, clerked for two federal magistrate judges and practiced with a private law firm, litigating civil rights cases for municipalities.
Mr. Huber graduated from Bucknell University and Boston University School of Law.
