NJ FamilyCare/Medicaid provides health care coverage to New Jersey children under age 19 whose family income is at or below 355% of the Federal Poverty Level. For a family of 4, that is $9,230 a month (2024 guidelines).
On January 1, 2023, under the Cover All Kids initiative, NJ FamilyCare expanded to cover children under 19, regardless of their immigration status.
