The Division of Medical Assistance and Health Services has created a one-hour online training course to help people become familiar with the NJ FamilyCare program and the Federally-Facilitated Marketplace (FFM).

The course provides an overview of both the NJ FamilyCare program and the FFM, as well as how to apply online for health coverage. It also includes basics about confidentiality laws, such as the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and how to deliver effective customer service.

By viewing this course, you will gain a better understanding of health coverage options in New Jersey for your own knowledge, or to assist others in applying for health coverage.
