A comprehensive Quality Strategy is required by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for all states implementing Managed Care in its Medicaid Program. The Quality Strategy serves as a blueprint or road map for New Jersey and its public Managed Care Organizations in assessing the quality of care that beneficiaries receive, as well as for setting forth measurable goals and targets for improvement.

The Department of Human Services, Division of Medical Assistance and Health Services (DMAHS) is seeking public comments on the draft New Jersey Quality Strategy. A copy of the New Jersey Quality Strategy can be found below.

Comments or inquiries must be submitted in writing within 30 days of the date of this posting (April 26, 2022).
