Acting Governor Salutes Troops

By Tech. Sgt. Mark Olsen, NJDMAVA/PA

Click to EnlargeOn Nov. 22, Acting Governor Richard M. Codey along with Maj. Gen. Glenn K. Rieth and various dignitaries from the public and private sector honored more than 350
citizen-soldiers at the Trenton War Memorial Patriots Theater.

Acting Governor Codey spoke about the dedication of the citizen-soldiers, the values they represented and their commitment to the state of New Jersey and the Nation.

The event, which featured an Official Deployment Ceremony and a Parade of Troops, saluted members of the 119th Corps Support Battalion, along with A and C Batteries of the 3rd Battalion, 112th Field Artillery.

This is the sixth and final Salute The Troops Ceremony for OIF 3. We look forward to the safe return of our Soldiers and welcoming them home.
