TRENTON – As part of its continued efforts to improve customer service, the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission announced today it now accepts Discover Card as a payment option at agency locations and at NJMVC.gov. .
“We’re always looking to provide more convenient ways to serve New Jersey’s drivers,” said MVC Chief Administrator Sue Fulton. “Adding Discover Card as a payment option is another step in that direction. Customers can now use their Discover Card to pay for transactions in an agency or online, on-the-go or from the comfort of their home.”
MVC customers are reminded of the many Online Services available at NJMVC.gov. . Customers can renew or replace licenses, renew or replace registrations, change an address, make surcharge and restoration payments, and more at the MVC website.
“Before coming to an MVC Licensing or Vehicle Center, double check NJMVC.gov. ,” added Fulton. “There’s a very strong chance you’ll be able to ‘Skip the Trip’ and do your transaction there using your credit or debit card. Save time and don’t add to the line – there’s no need to visit an MVC location if you can do your transaction at the website.”
In addition to Discover Card, the MVC accepts American Express, MasterCard, and Visa online at NJMVC.gov. . In agencies, money orders, checks, and cash are accepted along with those credit cards.
