TRENTON – Effective immediately, the Paterson Licensing Center will be closed until Friday, October 16, the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) has announced.
The Center has been closed due to an employee testing positive for COVID-19. The employee who tested positive was last in the Center on Thursday, October 1.
The Paterson Licensing Center will be cleaned in accordance with health protocols and remain closed until contact tracers have cleared a sufficient number of employees to reopen or any required quarantine is complete.
The MVC currently plans to reopen the Paterson Licensing Center on Friday, October 16.
Customers can locate alternative Licensing Centers via the MVC’s Facilities Location page.
Nearby Licensing Centers include Oakland, Lodi, and Wayne. Customers are reminded that the Wayne Licensing Center will be closed from October 15-17, as previously announced.
